10-Lesson Introductory Course
This course is designed for individuals with no prior experience in chanoyu who wish to begin their study of the Way of Tea. Through ten carefully structured lessons, students will be introduced to the essential forms and manners that serve as the foundation of tea practice.
Note: *Sitting on knees (seiza) is required during the class.
Prerequisite: A Monthly Introductory Workshop is recommended for those with no prior experience who would like an introduction before committing to the course. It may be waived for those who feel ready to begin and attend regularly.
Duration: (2.5–3 hours per session)

You may take up to five courses consecutively. After completing the program, you may proceed to regular classes. You will be eligible to apply for a tea certificate once you have attended the required number of regular classes.
